Well, back again after 8 or 9 years since visiting the old website. So impressed with this new site and I have learned so much about the old school that I never knew - very informative, the photo galleries in particular. I was here 66 - 69 and reading postings from other ex-pupils memories has reignited many good memories - particularly Mr. Light's English lessons and him introducing us to The Little Grey Men by BB, awesome rugby seasons 67 - 68, sweeping the boarding in the interschool cross-country events, free milk, playing very dusty football at breaktime wearing wellington boots and dungarees in the court area, midnight swims, tuckshop raids, an amazing array of transistor radios outside Mr. Whitaker's office and Saturday afternoons being able to listen to them (very late 60's), sneaking down the back stairs after lights out to raid the staff supper table in the library and eventually being caught after the 6th time, being involved in HMS Pinafore and one other whodunit play where I played Lush the butler, beating the bounds, Sunday exeats and feeling homesick, and so much more - oh and the smell of Mr Whitaker's study as I entered for my first and only beating (only 2 strokes as I owned up!).
Will attach some photos for the gallery once I locate them again.
