Holladay 2 1948 picture - Barry Laughton was created by admin

I am in that 1948 picture somewhere but to coin a phrase I don't know myself! I will be on the bottom row. Anyway I am grateful for the school photograph. The grandchildren may show an interest! Does Holladay remember the newspaper?

I met up with my eldest brother a few days ago (August 2013) but I have a feeling you are not referring to him (ginger haired, called Peter, tall and lanky).
Will try my middle brother Christopher as I received a blank look from Peter when I showed him your post - he has a good memory so will awaity a response from him and let you know the outcome - could you expand on the Newspaper comment to provoke the old grey cells ?

Have followed up query with my middle brother, Christopher (Hyde-Martin & he Top Dog X Country participants in their day) C has excellant uncluttered memory but unfortunately he also recalls nothing - you'll have to be more explicit as I stated in last post.
The only NewspaperI recall is the Ravenswood Chronicle.
Can't be me - only 3 in 1948 !!
